Relative Pronoun (Kata Ganti Penghubung)

Apa sih relative pronoun ?😁
Oke saya jelasin sedikit tentang reative pronoun, sebelumnya penjelasan ini saya kutip dari Buku The Understanding Grammar, Written by bpk. Agus Daman Huri

• Relative pronoun adalah kata ganti yang menggantikan subject yang disebut sebelumnya. Fungsinya adalah sebagai penghubung antara kata benda dan keterangan.
• Dalam bahasa indonesia berarti "yang"
• Ada dua relative pronoun yaitu :

1. Defining Relative (tertentu)
2. Non Defining Relative (tak tentu)

A. Defining Relative

😁That (which)
 Dipakai sebagai pengganti subject bila subject tersebut benda (nouns).
Ex:

• Bali is Paradise Island
• It has a lot of historical temples

Bali which has a lot of historical temples is Paradise Island

• Borobudur is a historical tample
• It was boombed years ago

Borobudur which was boombed years ago is a historical tample

😆That (which)
 Dipakai sebagai pengganti subject bila subject  benda atau binatang.
Ex:

• The animal is a dog 
• It haunted by brother last night

The animalwhich haunted by brother last night is a dog 

• This book is very beautiful
• It is very expensive

This book which is very expensive is very beautiful

😃That (which)
 Dipakai sebagai pengganti object bila object berupa benda atau binatang.
Ex:

• This is the book
• I bought it yesterday 

This is the book which I bought yesterday

• Here is my car
• You can borrow it now

Here is my car which you can borrow now

😆Who (that)
  Dipakai sebagai pengganti subject bila subject tersebut berupa orang.
Ex:

• My brother is a police man
• He lives in Kediri 

My brother who lives in Kediri is a police man

• Nazar is a teacher 
• He teaches the lesson patiently

Nazar who teaches the lesson patiently is a teacher 

😇Whom (that)
Dipakai sebagai pengganti object bila subject tersebut berupa orang dan dapat di hilangkan.
Ex:

• The man is Nizar
• I invited him yesterday 

The man whom I invited yesterday is Nizar

• The man has just gone
• We want to see him

The man whom we want to see has just gone

😊Whose
Dipakai sebagai pengganti milik untuk orang.
Ex:

• The man is Andra
• His wife went abroad last week 

The man whose wife went abroad last week is Andra

•  The man is Nizar
• His father will fly to Australia next month.

 The man whose father will fly to Australia next month is Nizar

😈Whose 
 Dipakai sebagai pengganti milik untuk binatang.
Ex:

• The animal is gerrafe
• Its neck is very long 

 The animal whose neck is very long is gerrafe

😼Of which
  Dipakai sebagai pengganti milik untuk benda.
Ex:

• Here is the book
• Its price is very expensive

 Here is the book of which price is very expensive

😍Where
  Dipakai sebagai kata tambahan.
 Ex:

• Do you still remember the place?
• I met him there for the first time.

Do you still remember the place when I met him for the first time ?
Do you still remember the place in which I met him for the first time ?
Do you still remember the place that I met him there for the first time ?
Do you still remember the place I met him there for the first time in ?

  Dipakai sebagaipengganti keterangan waktu.
Ex:

• How can I forget the day ?
• He went away

How can I forget the day when he went away 
How can I forget the day on which he went away 
How can I forget the day that he went away
